SKIPTON CANAL AND BOLTON ABBEY - Thursday 5th July 2018 - ​by coach

After a coffee stop in the historic village of Ripley, we travel on to Skipton for a boat trip on the Leeds to Liverpool canal. On board 'The Dalesman', we pass through post-industrial scenery to reach open countryside. During our trip, a lunch with tea/coffee will be served.

After leaving Skipton, we travel by coach to the village of Bolton Abbey where Bolton Priory stands majestically by the River Wharfe. We may have a guided tour of the Priory church and ruins and explore the village with its shops and cafes.
Cost: £42(£44) - includes coach, coffee, boat trip, lunch and tour of Bolton Abbey
