A visit of contrasts. In the morning, visit an original Victorian workhouse - one of only three surviving in the country. After a welcome coffee/tea and biscuits, discover how life was for the Victorian poor and the grim atmosphere of the workhouse.
After the visit, there will be an opportunity to seek out lunch in one of the many eateries in Ripon. Suggestions will be provided.
