Guests arriving for the Strawberry Tea

Members of the Co  Durham Centre enjoyed a glorious afternoon at the Presidents home at Hamsterely, where they were served with Persecco, strawberries and cream, along with shortbread.

The sun shone relentlessly, so sheltering under the gazebos was essential!

Guests were able to walk around the gardens, viewing the many beautiful features, and to ask questions of their hosts, Caroline and Jonathan Peacock.

Thanks were expressed to the hosts by Dora Fielder, the Chairman, after what was a memorable afternoon.
